What's worse is the soldier doesn't seem to realize there's anything remotely charming about it at all, the instinct to realize it far less familiar than the habitual nature of it. Reclaiming one's identity doesn't seem to be as straightforward as one might hope it to be.
Furnished as it is, Bucky has to wonder if Loki picked any of it himself or if the task was left to others. Being Asgardian royalty seems likely to afford one a very lavish lifestyle, as can be seen by their surroundings, but there is the question too of how much of it has any meaning to Loki. It's not as if the prince would have chosen to make Earth his home, had there been a choice, but perhaps in adapting, he's managed to find some comfort somewhere in it all.
"Whiskey, usually. So anything similar to that would be fine." He eyes the seating briefly, walking about to the other side of the table and drawing out a chair. Distance is probably safer for the both of them, still, especially with the way Loki swiftly dodged that question. There's no reason to press when the man isn't in any mood to answer it though.
He nods and pours a second glass, which he sets on the table in front of Bucky before joining him at the table. He's quiet for a moment, taking a sip from the glass in his hand as he considers his next words.
"Do you think...people can truly change? Or are our natures set, destinies chosen before we even have a say in the matter?" A heavy topic, maybe, but... maybe if he could get real answers from anyone, it's the man in front of him that might understand it in a deeper way than most.
